The motto of the meeting on 1st of March is "The Role of Culture in the External Relations: The Way Forward." The Forum will be chaired by Bulgaria’s Minister of Culture Boil Banov. The Minister of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, Lilyana Pavlova, will visit the Craft Street "Song of the Wheels", which is opened in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.
In the foyer of the fourth floor, the Bulgarian traditions and culture will come to life, and every visitor can make his own unique martenitsa.
The event is part of the cultural calendar of the Bulgarian presidency, and the name of the street is borrowed from the title of the short story by the prominent Bulgarian writer from the interwar period, Yordan Yovkov (a short-story writer and novelist whose stories of Balkan peasant life and military experiences show a fine mastery of prose).
