The Mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova, showed in Facebook the first of the new trains for the third line of the underground, which is already in a process of technical testing. Four more trains from a total of twenty are in a process of production, the first ones arriving in Sofia in the summer of this year.
The new trains have reduced power consumption, reduced noise levels, and the option to run without a driver. The trains are “through trains”, unlike those we have in which separate carriages, Yordanka Fandakova wrote.
