About 50 deliveries a day of essential goods for elderly, single and people with mobility difficulties are performed by the Emergency Relief and Prevention Directorate, the Sofia Municipality press office said on March 20.
The Directorate has established 12 teams for the execution of the orders. They use vehicles provided by the Transport Directorate of Sofia Municipality.
On Monday, volunteers from the Bulgarian Red Cross and from the voluntary formation of the Sofia Municipality will join the teams.
All citizens in this group can make orders for essential goods and medicines by telephone on 02/8188522, 02/8188523 and 0879811403. Applications from a single address are accepted every 3-4 days and citizens should make a list of what they need for the day and for the next few days.
