The "Sofia Auto Transport" will buy 10 renovated buses that will go to Vitosha Nature Park. They will replace the fully depreciated vehicles on lines 63,163 and 66, the Deputy Mayor of Sofia Evgeni Krussev said during his inspection of the regularity and service of line 63.

The buses will be consistent with the route features on the three lines and with a larger number of seats as the journey takes longer and the terrain is mountainous. The buses will be with manual gearboxes and diesel engines, which will provide greater security for the passengers on long-lasting trips on hills.
The public procurement will be put out to tenderin August this year. It is expected that the vehicles will be delivered in the winter.
Evgeni Krussev – Deputy Mayor of Sofia: “The "Urban Mobility Centre" aims to monitor the workload of the lines and, if necessary, to launch additional vehicles to Vitosha Nature Park”.
