The body of the child who fell from the breakwater in Varna was found

This morning, on 16^th of August, divers took out the body of 12-year-old Marian, who yesterday fell from the breakwater at the Marine Station in Varna. The search for the second child continues. The incident occured on 15th of August when as a group of friends were walking around the area. A high wave came and carried two of the children into the sea.

The search for the two boys continued almost until midnight. The action was resumed at 6 o’clock this morning. It included divers from the Maritime Administration and the Naval Forces. The body of the first child was found about 50 metres into the sea from the spot near the breakwater.

The children met to attend the evening concert of the City Festival. Before that, they decided to walk on the breakwater, without worrying about the turbulent sea-water.

In some places the breakwater is dangerous and there is no lighting, said Milen Velinov, who wrote a complaint about this problem to the district governor a month ago. But he also believes that the children have neglected the risks of bad weather.

Divers continue the search for the other boy, 14-year-old Dian from Varna.
