The three opposition parties, "Vazrazhdane", "BSP for Bulgaria" and "There is Such a People" (TISP) on October 5 tabled in Parliament the first vote of no confidence in the Denkov cabinet. It is about the policy in the energy sector.
All three political forces believe that the government's actions put a "cross on the Bulgarian energy sector".
Earlier, the leader of the socialist party, Kornelia Ninova, told journalists in Parliament that the ruling majority "really puts a cross on Bulgarian energy. The least we can ask for is a vote of no confidence and political responsibility for what is happening", she is convinced.
The leader of "Vazrazhdane" Kostadin Kostadinov said it is a matter of political judgment whether the parties in the "Triple Coalition" would support this vote or not. We are realistic, we realize that the chance of this vote tends to zero, Kostadinov said.
According to the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, the debate on the draft resolution for a vote of no confidence shall start no earlier than three and no later than seven days from the receipt of the motion. The vote on the draft shall take place no earlier than 24 hours after the conclusion of the debate.
