The tax of the electronic cigarettes, which now is 26% of the excise duty on traditional cigarettes, will increase to 40% from October 1, 2018. The changes were adopted at first reading and the excise duty on the electronic cigarette box will increase from a BNG 0.93 to around BGN 1.70.
