The wildfire, which has been raging for several days in an area between several villages on the border of the districts of Stara Zagora and Haskovo in Southern Bulgaria, has not subsided and is constantly changing direction. Thousands of acres of mixed forest, grass and bushes are burning.
The atmosphere is very dynamic, changing every hour. In the morning everything was calm, but the situation became a little more complicated in the afternoon, when fire broke out in 9 places along the perimeter of the fire. A strong wind of 34 km/h came out and the temperature was more than 36 degrees.
The extinguishing continues, and heavy-duty machinery are making clearings in order to limit the spread of the fire. Although it spreads between three villages - two in Stara Zagora region and one in Haskovo region, there is no danger of it reaching the settlements and the people.
