The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria has risen to 611. The increase compared to yesterday’s is by 5,2%, the national task force said at the daily briefing on April 9.
Thirty new cases were registered for the past 24 hours, 13 of them were hospitalised. Eighteen new cases were confirmed in Sofia, 4 in Kyustendil, 2 in Sliven, 1 in Pazardzhik, 1 in Stara Zagora, 1 in Plovdiv and 1 in Dobrich.
The total number of samples that were tested was 498.
Out of the total, 341 are men and 270 are women.
The number of Covid-19 patients among the medical specialists is also increasing, reaching 33. The new case is a 62 year old woman, a doctor, internal diseases specialist, without data for being in contact with patients.
48 people have recovered.
The total number of deaths is 24.
The hospitalised Covid-19 patients are 233, 27 of them are in intensive care.
1,016 tests were conducted among police officers. 1,007 tested negative for the virus, the results of the rest showed antibodies. One has flu-like symptoms, but tested negative for coronanvirus.
