Two men died in an avalanche in Vitosha mountain near Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, the manager of the rescue operation told BNT on 21st of January.
The two were on their way to the upper station of Zaeka lift.
The rescue operation started in the early hours on 21st of January and involved a team of 13 people and 2 rescue dogs. The bodies of the two men were found buried in the avalanche. Their identity is not confirmed yet.
The Mountain Rescue Service said that 3 big and 2 small avalanches occurred during the night.
