WCC-DB: GERB are responsible for forming a government

Ask GERB what they will do as winners - they have the responsibility to form a government again. This is what Nikolay Denkov from We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (WCC-DB) said after the first exit poll results of the vote became clea on October 27r.

The coalition leaders thanked their voters for the support.

"We thank all our voters, all those who went to the polling stations and did not remain without hope that Bulgaria can be changed," said WCC-DB Co-chair Kiril Petkov.

Our voters this time gave us more strength to fight for higher incomes and better education - this will be a big priority, along with anti-corruption laws, WCC-DB Co-chair Assen Vassilev.

WCC-DB Co-chair Atanas Atanasov noted that there was higher voter turnout at the October 27 elections.

The coalition will stick to its plan, he added.

Former WCC-DB PM Nikolay Denkov said that now GERB-UDF should take responsibility for forming Bulgaria’s next regular government, as they seem to have won the elections.

None of them were willing to answer the question of who would be the equidistant prime minister they are aiming for.
