A 73 year old woman died this evening, March 28, in a hospital in the city of Blagoevgrad (Southern Bulgaria). She was treated for Covid-19. At the moment, it cannot be firmly said if Covid-19 was the cause of her death.
The patient was admitted in the hospital together with her daughter several days ago. The younger woman is in a serious, but not life threatening condition and intubated.
The largest number of coronavirus cases in the country were registered over the past twenty four hours. If they continue to increase, the national task force are ready to propose the government to introduce even stricter measures, including a curfew and total ban of going out in public places.
