Aerial spraying for mosquitoes begins within the next days in the areas near the Danube river in Bulgaria. The government allocated 2 million BGN for the purpose. In the city of Rousse, spraying on the ground will also take place.
Since the beginning of April, 7 sprayings with machines have taken place in Rousse and the settlements in the municipality. Despite that, the residents continue to complain of a large number of mosquitoes.
Experts on mosquito control explained the increased population with the recent frequent rains.
