Bulgarian fighter jets escorted an Israeli aircraft after received information about suspected explosive device on board of the aircraft.
Bulgaria’s Ministry of Defence triggered standard procedures to ensure the passage of aircraft in the airspace of Bulgaria. The aircraft was en route from New York to Tel Aviv.
According to information of Interfax, Switzerland and France and after that Israel also scrambled fighter jets to escort the aircraft. According to the agency, the aircraft landed safely in Tel Aviv. The bomb threat was false.
