Bulgaria's Commission for Counteracting Corruption and Forfeiture of Illegal Assets found that the former director of the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) Petiyo Ivanov was in a conflict of interest as he simultaneously was a member of the management board of Bulgargaz (a subsidiary of BEH), Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) said on October 15..
Ivanov was fined BGN 15,000 and was ordered to forfeit the received income for the period under review, but its amount is not specified.
Ivanov told BNR that he did not agree with the decision of the Anti-Corruption Commission and would appeal it.
