27th of August is declared a day of national mourning for the 16 victims of the serious bus crash, which occurred near Svoge on Saturday, 25th of August. In memory of the people who died in the accident, Bulgaria’s national flag will be flown at half-mast at all state institutions.
The monastery "Sedemte Prestola" (Seven Thrones), which was visited by the passengers on the bus before the tragic accident, will hold a memorial service in memory of the victims. And the Church "St. Kozma and Damyan Crucifixes" in the village of Svetovrachene, from wwhere most of the victims come from, will serve a liturgy.
