The public service broadcaster, Bulgarian National Television, will organise and broadcast the only debate between the two presidential candidates, Rumen Radev and Anastas Gerdzhikov, before the election run-off vote on Sunday.
The debate will be aired in primetime on Thursday, November 18, at 20;00 and would cover topics important to society, in which the main role is played by the presidential institution.
Bulgarian National Television will provide an opportunity for the candidates' messages to reach the widest possible audience.
So far in its history, BNT has organised several major political debates, the last of which was from November 10, 2016, when presidential candidates Tsetska Tsacheva and Rumen Radev took part.
