Border police officer’s car was set on fire on 25th of October in the Northern Bulgarian city of Vidin. The incident was reported to the emergency line 112 shortly after 20.30. Police and fire-fighting teams were sent to the scene.
During the inspection, the investigators identified that the fire was caused by a human act.
At the same time, the front door of an apartment on the floor where the border police officer lived was also set on fire. The investigation is on-going. The Public Prosecutor's Office has been notified.
