Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Bulgaria on 1st of November at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart Boyko Borissov. At Evksinograd residence near Varna, they discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation in cyber security, military industry, high technology and tourism.
This is the third meeting of the two prime ministers within the last four months - a fact that was highlighted by Benjamin Netanyahu as a result of the great intensity in the relations between the two countries.
The Israeli Prime Minister thanked his Bulgarian counterpart for the relations and common goals in the fight against anti-Semitism. Netanyahu added that the vision of Bulgaria for the Western Balkans could help Israel's relations with the countries of the region.
Boyko Borissov stressed that for the third time Netanyahu points out how great was the sacrifice of the Bulgarian people, who saved over 50,000 Jews during the Second World War, and what is Bulgaria’s contribution to the fight to preserve the peace and security in the world.
Benjamin Netanyahu called Boyko Borissov his dear friend said that thanks to his leadership, Bulgaria has become a leading country within the EU.
The programme of the two Prime Ministers continues on 2nd of November with a working lunch with the Prime Ministers of Greece and Romania, and the President of Serbia.
