Sharp criticism in Parliament towards the caretaker government. The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) called on the President to replace Dimitar Glavchev as caretaker Prime Minister. At the same time, together with "Vazrazhdane" and “There is Such a People” (TISP), they collected sufficient number of signatures for a vote of no confidence in the caretaker cabinet.

There was also a clash on another topic - who selects the ministers and who is responsible for the actions of the caretaker cabinet.

“Vazrazhdane", BSP and TISP gathered 67 signatures for a vote of no confidence - the first time in a caretaker government.

“Vazrazhdane" leader, Kostadinov explained that the no-confidence motion was submitted.

"The first motive is related to the unprecedented political interference in the work of the caretaker government. If anyone has any doubts about our vote, they can turn to the Constitutional Court - this infinitely selfless court in which there is no political interference. “We Continue the Change” did not sign. They refused us. Which once again shows what bottom-feeding hypocrites these creatures are," said Kostadin Kostadinov - chairman of "Vazrazhdane".

"I would gladly support the vote of no confidence, but the problem is that it is not constitutionally justified," explained Kiril Petkov - co-chair of “We Continue the Change”.

"There is a decision of the Constitutional Court that contradicts this type of no-confidence vote. There is also reason to believe that with the changes to the Constitution, this thing might not apply," said Pavela Mitova - MP from the parliamentary group of TISP.

The BSP made an appeal:

"President Radev should replace caretaker Prime Minister Glavchev. Under the new Constitution he can do it, the President can choose the caretaker Prime Minister. This is the job of the President, we do not interfere in his affairs. Glavchev's caretaker cabinet is fake caretaker. We have evidence that GERB has influence in this cabinet," said Kornelia Ninova, BSP leader.

GERB leader Boyko Borissov said that he does not select people for members of the cabinet. As regards caretaker Prime Minister’s proposal to replace the foreign minister hours after a statement made by Borissov, the GERB leader said:

"Absolute coincidence. In the reasoning it is very clear. The last 9-10 months of the governance, GERB has been 100% responsible for foreign policy in the country. If they appoint Mitov I will say: 'GERB is responsible for foreign policy as well," said Boyko Borisov - Chairman of GERB.

Kiril Petkov of WCC opposed him and described Borissov’s claim of a coincidence as laughable.

"For a week, giving confidence to two ministers and then withdrawing them.. you have a caretaker Prime Minister who hears a comment from a political leader and the next minute literally reacts and then the political leader - in this case Boyko Borissov – claims that it was a coincidence. I think it is laughable," said Kiril Petkov.

Borissov clarified: he had a reason to tell the party activists of GERB that if Glavchev did not comply with the requested change of foreign minister, he would do so that he would comply.

"The supporters, the members of GERB and the people who had come were furious with the appointments in the caretaker government. The Mayor's mother from “We Continue the Change” is a minister in Glavchev's caretaker government. And I had to answer them that I do not agree with the foreign minister, nor with many of the appointments, but that's up to Glavchev," Boyko Borissov said.

"Borissov obviously has the family tree of everyone. Instead of looking for the mothers and fathers and great-grandfathers, he should take the responsibility that this caretaker government is influenced by GERB at the moment," said Kiril Petkov.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) has expectations from the President about Glavchev's proposed changes of ministers.

"The President should immediately sign the decree and we should have a foreign minister. We have practically no foreign minister at the moment. If the caretaker Prime Minister has decided, yes, Daniel Mitov (of GERB) should be the foreign minister. It is the caretaker Prime Minister's exclusive right to make all changes of ministers, deputy ministers. I do not understand the delay in the President’s decree," said Delyan Peevski, chairman of the MRF group.

The answer to the main question after all the scandals in the first week of the caretaker cabinet:

- BNT: Who is now politically responsible for the caretaker government?

The Parliament is. And that's why I turn to my colleagues - both Hristo Ivanov and Kiril Petkov and Delyan Peevski, because it is easiest for him to shout: ‘Ah, I have no ministers and I don't bother, I will be the opposition.’ But when we voted for the amendments to the Constitution, we were talking about how for 10 years we will be one block – WCC-DB-GERB and MRF," Boyko Borissov, GERB leader said.

"If Mr. Glavchev, despite that he was in GERB, was doing his job normally, the Constitution actually did not make him coordinate this caretaker cabinet line-up with Borissov and Peevski. Nothing obliges him to jump and asks for the resignation of two ministers when Borissov frowns", added Kiril Petkov of WCC.

And the other question - were the amendments to the Constitution a mistake:

"I have no regrets and I stand behind everything we voted for. Everything that we have voted, we have done it together and therefore our colleagues should not deny these 9 months. We have done good things as well over these past 9 months and they should not be ashamed and should not deny it in the conditions of a campaign, because tomorrow they may again sit on some laps," said Delyan Peevski of MRF.

The knot is tangled - the denouement is coming.
