MPs from the Budget Committee of Bulgaria’s Parliament approved at second reading on 23rd of November the budgets of the National Health Insurance Fund and of the State Social Security.
The minimum insurance threshold for farmers triggered a dispute. After voting, the MPs adopted to increase it by 50 BGN up to 350 BGN.
The law makers also approved an increase in the expesnes for outpatient and specialized care by BGN 27 million. This was requested by health minister Kiril Ananiev on Wednesday, 22nd of November.
The final decision will be taken in the plenary hall.
