Bulgaria’s Council of Ministers adopted the national cyber security strategy entitled Cyber Sustainable Bulgaria 2020, the government’s press office announced on 13th of July.
The strategy foresees the establishment of a council on cyber sustainability with the Council of Ministers, which will develop the position of Bulgaria for international institutions and organisations on the issues of cyber security. The cyber sustainability council will monitor the trends and development of threats, methods for countering and if necessary will table proposals for solutions to the Security Council of the Council of Ministers.
According to the document, a national coordinator with the Council of Ministers will be designated, who will be responsible for the management of the implementation of the cyber security action plan.
