At a meeting on November 6, the Bulgarian government appointed new district governors in Plovdiv and Haskovo after the predecessors Zdravko Dimitrov and Stanislav Dechev were elected mayors of their districts’ capital cities.
In Plovdiv, Dani Kanazireva, has been appointed to succeed Zdravko Dimitrov. She was municipal councilor and candidate mayor. In Haskovo, Dr Stefka Stefanova, has been appointed to succeed Stanislav Dechev. Until now she was deputy district governor.
