In a statement on Facebook on November 15, Christian Vigenin announced his resignation as head of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) national election headquarters.
"The results of the elections are now clear, although they are not final. We have not achieved our goals. I am resigning as head of the National Election Headquarters,” he said.
According to the provisional results, BSP has 10.35%r of the vote in November 14’s early parliamentary elections. In the April regular elections the party had 15.01% and 13.4% in July snap elections.
