Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov accepted the proposed candidate, Deputy Prime Minister Meglena Kuneva, for the new minister for education to replace Todor Tanev, who resigned.
This was announced on 1st of February after a meeting between PM Borissov and Kuneva, at which they discussed the speeding up of the reforms in the area of education and adoption of strong anti-corruption legislation, the government’s press office said.
Borissov will submit the proposed nomination for a vote in Parliament on Wednesday, 3rd of February.
