The prospects for bilateral co-operation were discussed by President Rumen Radev with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The Bulgarian head of state is on a working visit to Athens on October 14.
It is a common position that the fight against terrorism, illegal migration and the security challenges in our region require a common European approach based on solidarity and shared values. In the talks with his Greek counterpart, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, the President said Bulgaria and Greece have made it clear that they can successfully develop a strategic partnership based on shared European values.
According to Rumen Radev, the challenges facing our countries should be seen as challenges facing the entire EU.
