Bulgaria’s head of state, President Rumen Radev, on November 3, sent a letter of condolences to the Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen regarding the terrorist attack in Vienna last night.
"I am convinced that our societies will give a definite response to such encroachments and will consolidate their forces in the fight against terrorism," Rumen Radev said in his letter.
The Bulgarian head of state expresses solidarity with the Republic of Austria and its friendly people. On his own behalf and on behalf of the Bulgarian people, Rumen Radev expresses sympathy at this difficult time, when "human life is subjected to brutal destruction and vile terrorist attack, when the foundations of the democratic state tradition and the rule of law are brutally attacked."
