Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev has signed the decree on the release of the chief secretary of the Interior Ministry Mladen Marinov from the post. So there is no obstacle to the candidacy of Mladen Marinov to be voted in the Parliament.
After several days of verbal disputes between the institutions, on 19th of September the saga about the release of Mladen Marinov as chief secretary of the Interior Ministry is over. GERB Parliamentary Speaker Tsvetan Tsvetanov said that no additional documents were submitted, other than those that were submitted in the first place. Tsvetanov also commented that the President had made a good move by signing the decree to release Mladen Marinov as the chief secretary of the Interior Ministry. The opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) commented that tomorrow they will be in the plenary hall to vote on the changes in the cabinet.
