“Bulgaria and Israel will cooperate in the area of emergency services”, the Bulgarian Minister of Health, Tanya Andreeva, announced on May 21st after a meeting with her Israeli counterpart as part of the Bulgarian government delegation. By the end of the year, 35 emergency centers and affiliates will be opened, as well as three large emergency complexes in the cities of Bourgas, Veliko Turnovo and Plovdiv.
Minister Andreeva said that Bulgarian experts presented emergency services reform plans to their Israeli counterparts. She added that improvements were required in the areas of standard emergency services and crisis response.
