In a meeting held in Warsaw on 7th of June, Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov and his Polish counterpart Witold Waszczykowski discussed NATO’s Air-forcing mission, which will cover on one hand the Baltic states and on the other - Bulgaria and Romania.
Within this mission, Polish military aircrafts will assist in guarding Bulgarian skies, Witold Waszczykowski said.
Both Mitov and Waszczykowski were firm that the forthcoming NATO summit in July should make clear decisions for strengthening the eastern flank of NATO.
This is the first visit of a Bulgarian foreign minister to Poland since 2006.
