Bulgaria provides over half a million BGN for international assistance
Bulgaria provides 539,060 BGN for official development assistance to international organisations, the press office of the Council of Ministers announced on 22nd of August.
The funds will be allocated to the following organisations:
- BGN 24 077 to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR);
- BGN 136 908 to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees;
- BGN 42 375 to the Office of the Supreme Commissioner for Human Rights;
- BGN 32 102 to the UN Central Emergency Response Fund.
- BGN 80 255 to the Trust Fund, supporting the mediation activities of the United Nations Department of Political Affairs;
- 3371 BGN to the Voluntary Trust Fund for the implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty;
- 3371 BGN to the Support Unit for the Implementation of the Ottawa Convention on Anti-Personnel Mines;
- 1460 BGN to the Unit for Supporting the Implementation of the Convention on Cluster Munitions;
- 195 583 BGN to the European Fund for Democracy and 19 558 BGN to the Council of Europe Action Plan for Moldova.
Since the beginning of the year, Bulgaria has provided official development assistance totaling BGN 4.1 million.
