BULGARIAN GRIGOR DIMITROV THROUGH TO SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL FINAL

The highest ranking Bulgarian tennis player, Grigor Dimitrov, qualified for the final in Sydney following the 6-2, 7-6 (7/4) victory over Luxembourg's Gilles Muller.

Earlier on 15^th of January, Dimitrov secured his place in the semifinals in Sydney with 4-6 6-3 6-4 win over the Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov.

In Sydney final the fourth seed Dimitrov will face the third seed Serbian Viktor Troicki.

Meanwhile the results of the draw have been announced for the 2016 Australian Open. Grigor Dimitrov has been handed an Australian Open first-round match against the Italian Paolo Lorenzi. In the second round it is possible to play vs. a qualifier and in the third round potentially will face Roger Federer.
