Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov met with South Korean President Moon Jae-in in Seoul on September 27.
Borissov invited the South Korean president to visit Bulgaria next year on the occasion of 30 years since diplomatic relations between the two countries were established, and invited him to turn the first sod at a new electric car battery factory in Bulgaria.
President Moon Jae-in backed Bulgaria's intentions to develop bilateral relations with South Korea in this area.
Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov is on an official visit to South Korea. On September 25, representatives of the Bulgarian government held talks with Hyundai and another South Korean company for investments to the size of billion and a half dollars.
Yesterday in Seoul, PM Borissov met with the PM of South Korea Lee Nak-yon, who said that his country was interested in building an RDF plant in Bulgaria. The two countries signed memoranda of cooperation in the areas of energy and foreign affairs.
