Bulgaria’s Central Election Commission (CEC) said on December 30 that it selected Ciela Norma as the winner in the public procurement tender to purchase 9,600 voting machines, which will be used in next year’s parliamentary elections.
CEC will sign a contract with the company in the new year.
The candidates were eight in total. The election commission disqualified two and shortlisted six bidders to submit formal offers
Ciela Norma supplied the voting machines used in the 2019 European Parliament election.
