As expected, the Bulgarian Parliament rejected the third vote of no confidence on 12th February. The motion was called by the opposition GERB party over failure of the government to deal with security issues. Prime Minister Oresharsiki’s government was backed by 116 MPs from the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and its ruling partner the Movement for Rights and Freedoms party (DPS), 8 MPs from the nationalist Ataka party abstained.
