At 17:00, Bulgarian time, on 28th of Spetmeber, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will deliver an official speech at the General Assembly of the United Nations. Earlier at the headquarters of the organisation, the Prime Minister held a series of bilateral meetings.
It is expected that, together with the situation in the Middle East and the need for even more active actions of the entire world community to achieve lasting peace and stability, the Bulgarian Prime Minister will emphasize the achievements in the six months of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Councui of the EU in his address to the General Assembly of the United Nations and the role played by our country in placing the theme of the Western Balkans as an EU priority.
Later, Prime Minister Borissov and his Bulgarian delegation will have a formal meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, and then Boyko Borissov will also talk to US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo.
