Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev invited GERB leader Boyko Borissov to meet and discuss corruption and economic development issues in the country. The President announced this on 16th of November following his attendance in the celebrations dedicated to the Day of the Land Forces at the Georgi Stoykov Rakovski Military Academy.
President Radev said that law should not be confused with vision. This is how he responded to Prime Minister Borissov's words who said that the President had discussed the project "Vision for Bulgaria" with Kornelia Ninova (leader of the opposition BSP) and the BSP, but refused a meeting with GERB representatives.
Radev rejected the allegations that he and the BSP are instigating protests. According to the head of state, Bulgaria should not sign the UN Migration Pact.
Bulgarians see that all actions of the government have one goal - not to lose power. Every power, whether current or next, should know that it will not be able to govern the way it has been done so far, the president noted. According to him, the Bulgarians are increasingly determined and organised to seek their rights because they are measured not only by the past but also by the countries around us.
