Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov described the EC's CVM report as objective and expressed conviction that Bulgaria would meet all recommendations by the end of 2018. He made the comments on 16th of November, speaking with journalists during an inspection of the Eastern Tangent of Sofia Ring Road.
The Prime Minister commented that everything that was taken as a commitment would be completed. “There are several tasks in Parliament, which will be fulfilled by the end of the year”, Borissov said. “We know that we are not perfect and there is more to be done, but the institutions are convinced enough and in Brussels they are sure we will implement the recommendations”, he added. I think the political assessment is good enough to be optimistic and motivate us to work better, the PM said.
