Bulgaria’s Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov on 14th of December urged several parliamentary committees to discuss allegations by Boyko Rashkov, chief of the Bureau for Control of Special Intelligence Means, who had said that there were serious violations in the use of special intelligence means carried out by the prosecutor’s office and the State Agency for National Security (SANS).
According to the Chief Prosecutor, these allegations should be discussed by MPs in the presence of all the members of the Bureau and the Heads of SANS and the State Agency for Technical Operations.
Several days ago, Rashkov told Parliament that there were hundreds of alerts about violations in the use of special intelligence means, but at the same time these organizations keep silent when notified by the Bureau.
