The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,043 from 9,831 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on October 25.
The latest cases were registered in the following districts:
Blagoevgrad - 47; Bourgas - 32; Varna - 58; Veliko Turnovo - 16; Vidin – 7; Vratsa - 34; Gabrovo - 33; Kardhzali - 35; Kyustendil - 26; Lovech - 14; Montana - 22; Pazardzhik - 26; Pernik - 28; Pleven - 25; Plovdiv - 76; Razgrad - 18; Rousse - 21; Silistra - 6; Sliven - 7; Smolyan - 6; Sofia district - 21; Sofia city - 393; Stara Zagora - 30; Targovishte - 39; Haskovo - 5; Shoumen - 18.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 37,562.
The active cases are 18,246.
Of the total, 1,976 patients are in hospitals, 138 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 269. The total recoveries are 18,102.
A total of 1,872 medical professional have tested positive for the virus since the start of the epidemic, including 41 newly infected over the past 24 hours.
Seven Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. Total deaths rose to 1,084.
