Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,145 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,145 from 8,374 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 25.

Test positivity rate is 13,67%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,275,481.

The active cases are 10,152.

Of the total, 709 patients are in hospitals, 53 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,241 recoveries;

• 685 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 19 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 58,95% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 89,47% had not been vaccinated.

There were 160 new hospitalisations, of which 74,38% had not been vaccinated.
