Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,180 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,180 from 12,333 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 5.

Test positivity rate is 9,6%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,141,859.

The active cases are 173,569.

Of the total, 1,618 patients are in hospitals, 190 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 5,033 recoveries;

· 1,376 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 40 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 67,29% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 80,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 229 new hospitalisations, of which 78,17% had not been vaccinated.
