Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,442 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,442 from 13,155 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 29.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,134,906.

Test positivity rate is 10,9%.

The active cases are 188,112.

Of the total, 1,963 patients are in hospitals, 218 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 2, 639 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 910,314

· 1,398 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,346,559.

· 43 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 36,480.

Of the daily cases, 68,86% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 93,02% had not been vaccinated.

There were 294 new hospitalisations, of which 78,23% had not been vaccinated.
