Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 169 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 169 from 3,349 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on December 21.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,290,639.

The active cases are 3,924.

Of the total, 360 patients are in hospitals, 36 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 184 recoveries;

• 287 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 1 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 60,95% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 0,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 53 new hospitalisations, of which 67,92% had not been vaccinated.
