Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,827 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,827 from 36,141 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on December 10.

Test positivity rate is at 5%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 711,364

The active cases are 98,103.

Of the total, 5,411 patients are in hospitals, 643 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 2,130 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 583,879

· 18,835 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 3,466,433.

· 103 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 29,382.

Of the daily cases, 80.57% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 95.15% had not been vaccinated.

There were 443 new hospitalisations, of which 87.81% had not been vaccinated.

*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination.
