Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 219 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 219 from 4,272 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on December 14.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,289,474.

The active cases are 4,577.

Of the total, 387 patients are in hospitals, 32 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 140 recoveries;

• 271 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 5 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 67,12% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 60,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 50 new hospitalisations, of which 76,00% had not been vaccinated.
