Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 2292 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,292 from 9,234 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on July 19.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1, 187,138.

The active cases are 12,862.

Of the total, 740 patients are in hospitals, 37 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,545 recoveries;

• 2,860 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 7 Covid-19 related death.

Of the daily cases, 63.39% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100% had not been vaccinated.

There were 247 new hospitalisations, of which 71.66% had not been vaccinated.
