The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 263 from 4,843 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on October 2.This is 5,4% of the total number of tested persons.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 21,096.
Of the total, 857 patients are in hospitals, 47 of them being in intensive care.
Over the past 24 hours, 153 recoveries were registered. The total recoveries are 14,787.
The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 1,165, including 13 new cases.
Seven Covid-19 related deaths were reported over the past 24 hours, thus bringing the total deaths to 832.
