The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 286 from 4,943 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on October 1.This is 5,8% of the total number of tested persons.
The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad – 34; Bourgas – 19; Varna – 6; Veliko Turnovo – 2; Vratsa – 5; Gabrovo – 17; Dobrich - 5; Kardzhali – 13; Kyustendil – 5; Montana - 12; Pazardzhik – 9; Plovdiv – 24; Razgrad – 2; Silistra – 9; Sliven - 7; Smolyan – 4; Sofia district – 1; Sofia city – 57; Stara Zagora – 20; Targovishte – 7; Haskovo – 6; Shoumen – 11; Yambol – 11.
Of the total, 837 patients are in hospitals, 44 of them being in intensive care.
Over the past 24 hours, 145 recoveries were registered.
Twelve Covid-19 related deaths were reported.
