Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 305 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 305 from 2,230 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 4, 2023.

Test positivity rate is 13,7%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,315,163.

The active cases are 3,475.

Of the total, 343 patients are in hospitals, 26 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 252 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 1,273,218

• 2,730 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, 4,622,540;

• 2 Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 38,470;

Of the daily cases, 60,00% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 54 new hospitalisations, of which 57,41% had not been vaccinated.
